Paintball

Paintball is a pursuit game in which participants use compressed air pistols to fire small paint capsules at members of the other team. It takes place in the open air and the player wears special clothing in the form of a mask, which protects the face from possible hits, and overalls or suitable clothing of a porous fabric on which the paint can be seen.

The styles of play and rules vary from one place to another, as does the objective. Paintballing areas are usually marked out and furnished with the necessary equipment; the norm is for companies to provide the required equipment and materials.
